We always try to wear outerwear carefully, especially if it is made of expensive materials: natural fur, sheepskin or wool. But no one is immune from accidents. From constant socks, clothes get dirty, salted, spots are formed on it ...

How to remove stains from clothes:

Before starting the process, you need to choose a cleaning composition suitable for the material of the sheepskin coat. To clean a sheepskin coat from leather or suede materials at home you need different means. Prepare to clean the fur décor separately.

After processing the items with cleaning compositions, it is not allowed to dry the product near the heating devices or with a hair dryer or iron. It is better to hang a sheepskin coat at home on hangers and place in a well-ventilated place. In the same way you need to dry the product in which you fell under the snow.

LEATHER GOODS

Sheepskin coats made of leather were always in high esteem, they indicated the status of their owner. At the same time and care at home for such things requires some knowledge. Craftsmen use the following products to clean these items:

  • Semolina.
  • Starch.
  • Rubber.
  • Gasoline and kerosene.
  • Ammonia and tooth powder.

SEMOLINA

To clean the stains at home with a leather thing you need to sprinkle with dirt and rub a little rubbing. The semolina well absorbs dirt and moisture, and also allows you to get rid of traces of fat. It is good to use such an agent on dark skin - it will not lighten.

STARCH

As well as semolina, it is distributed on the surface of a sheepskin coat and gently rubs (you can roll the polluted place with your palms several times). Does not lighten the natural sheepskin coat from the skin of dark colors.

RUBBER

Before you begin to clean the leather sheepskin coat at home with rubber, you need to soak the rubber in a container with kerosene, and dry the stain itself (you do not need to dry it at all). Soaked rubber rub the spot of pollution several times. This method is suitable for eliminating non-greasy spots.

MINK
Cleaning mink fur at home should bring a shine of fur, it is a top priority in working with a mink coat. The luster is lost due to the leaching of the fat composition - it is possible to introduce a new method by this: dissolve 100 grams of pig meat in 1 liter of boiling water, fish oil and 10 g of soap can be used. While stirring the ingredients, add up to 12 drops of ammonia, then cool the solution to 35 degrees and apply emulsion to the fur with a brush.

RABBIT
Initial cleaning of rabbit fur at home is done by combing with a comb. Next, take a tampon, abundantly moistened with acetic acid (5%) or hydrogen peroxide to 5%, and in the direction of fur growth treats the hair. After the procedure, remove the remaining hydrogen from the hair with a damp cotton pad, preventing skin from getting wet.

ASTRAKHAN
A yellow gray astrakhan may be lightened with a 3 or 5 percent solution of hydrogen peroxide (1 h. Spoon per 1 cup of water) with the addition of a few drops of ammonia.

Universal mix for dealing with any stains on a down-padded coat: in equal amounts (1/4 tsp.) Mix ammonia and dish detergent, add 1 tsp. water. Beat the mixture until a thick foam forms and apply it to the stain with a sponge. Wash off after a few minutes.
